For traumatic stress, I have specific expertise and supervised training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from my time working in the VA. I have completed Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) training 5 day intensive and also completed Compassion Focused Therapy Advanced Clinical Skills Workshop from the Compassionate Mind Foundation. I infuse my clinical work with self-compassion and compassion focused approaches and at times this becomes a primary focus of treatment.
