Dr. Jakle (Psy 24708) provides compassionate, individualized and supportive therapy services informed by years of training in treatments that have a solid foundation of research.  


She emphasizes collaboration as well as understanding the circumstances around your current challenges.  Then, she will work with you to create a targeted plan for alleviating suffering and distress, and to increase a sense of meaning. 


Dr. Jakle's theoretical approach to therapy is informed by training and practice in:

Dr. Jakle provides telehealth services in California.  


Dr. Jakle worked for eight years at UCLA's Counseling and Psychological Services serving undergraduate and graduate students dealing with anxiety, stress, disordered eating,  traumatic stress, identity development, role transitions, relationship concerns and changes in mood/difficulty managing emotions.   She also served as a clinical supervisor, member of the Training Committee and ran a number of groups, including Compassion for Your Inner Critic.  She also worked in TeleMental Health in the Department of Veterans Affairs with a specialty inTeleSleep.  She has experience working with individuals of all ages, with a specialty in emerging adults and those in life transitions.  


Dr. Jakle obtained her B.A. and M.A in Psychology at Stanford University and her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University.
